Our Staff - Overview : Through years of experience, Rapid Medical Research has developed an integrated and comprehensive approach to conducting clinical trials by combining in-house clinical and administrative resources. RMR utilizes dedicated, leading Investigators, along with extensively trained and experienced clinical research coordinators to conduct trials with the utmost quality and care. Our in-house recruitment team, which draws from an extensive patient database, combined with separate regulatory and contract/budget departments, enable us to rapidly start-up and enroll our trials.

Investigators:Alan Wine, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Wine is a highly-trained and qualified board certified physician specializing in Hematology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Wine received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1970. He then completed his internship and residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, OH followed by a fellowship in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at University Hospital of Cleveland-Case Western Reserve. Dr. Wine spent several years as an Assistant Professor in Medicine for Case Western Reserve University and served as Chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at South Pointe Hospital before going into Private Practice in 1998. In 2007, Dr. Wine transitioned into the role of Associate Medical Director for Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH.
David Vexler, MD - Investigator
Dr. Vexler is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynegology and currently practices in Lyndhurst Ohio. He has served as an independent practitioner for the past 15 years. Dr. Vexler received his Doctor of Medicine from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1993. Dr. Vexler has also served as a Clinical Instructor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland Ohio.
Dr. Vexler has been an Investigator at Rapid Medical Research, Inc. for the past 6 years. During this time, Dr. Vexler has participated in over 75 clinical trials in various therapeutic areas including women’s health, arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, gout, overactive bladder & vaccines.
Clinical Research Staff:As RMR has evolved over the years, our methods for study startup and recruitment have developed into an expedient and efficient process. Focusing on quick turn-around times for startup, and rapid enrollment of studies, RMR has become known for its ability to provide pharmaceutical sponsors and CRO's the timeliness they desire, while maintaining a stringent quality of research and care. Our dedicated recruitment department expertly recruits participants using a database of over 10,000 potential research subjects, in addition to media advertising and referrals.
Our experienced clinical team is dedicated to conducting quality research in a professional and caring environment and strives on collecting quality data.
