Our Staff - Overview :
Through years of experience, Rapid Medical Research has developed an integrated and comprehensive
approach to conducting clinical trials by combining in-house clinical and administrative resources. RMR
utilizes dedicated, leading Investigators, along with extensively trained and experienced clinical research
coordinators to conduct trials with the utmost quality and care. Our in-house recruitment team, which
draws from an extensive patient database, combined with separate regulatory and contract/budget
departments, enable us to rapidly start-up and enroll our trials.

Investigators:
 
Nancy J. Tresser, M.D. - Medical Director
 
Dr. Nancy J. Tresser completed her undergraduate (1982) and medical school (1987) studies at 
the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her internship, residency and fellowship were completed 
in Cleveland at University Hospitals of Cleveland and Mt. Sinai Medical Center between 1987 and 
1993. She is board certified and holds medical licenses in Ohio, Michigan and Hawaii. In total she 
has over 16 years of experience doing clinical research in academic, government and entrepreneurial 
settings.

Nancy earned an M.B.A. at Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University 
in 2003. Following her studies she served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Imalux 
Corporation where she acted as a consultant and coordinator for over 40 biotechnology clinical 
studies on 4 continents. During this time Nancy actively participated in the clinical examination of 
study participants in the areas of Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Joint Disease, and Dentistry 
Clinical Research studies.

Nancy is a co-author on 39 clinical papers based on research completed at University Hospitals 
of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University, University of South Florida (Tampa), the National 
Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the NIH (Bethesda, MD) and Imalux (Cleveland, OH).
 
Jack Lissauer, M.D. - Investigator
Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Lissauer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of
Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland
School of Medicine.  

He completed his internship and residency at the University of Chicago Hospital and Clinics in
Chicago, Illinois. Moving to Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Lissauer entered the fellowship training program
in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation between 1974 and 1976. Immediately upon
graduation, he joined Gastroenterology Associates of Cleveland. For many years, Dr. Lissauer was
an attending physician teaching in the gastroenterology fellowship program at Mt. Sinai Hospital
and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. 
 
Dr. Lissauer has been an Investigator for Rapid Medical Research since 2010 and has extensive research
experience in Gastrointestinal Disorders both at RMR as well as in his private practice.
 
Alan Kravitz, M.D. - Investigator
Internal Medicine/Cardiology
Dr. Kravitz is a board certified Cardiologist with extensive clinical expertise. Following completion of
his Residency and Fellowship at New York Hospital-Cornell University and Emory University School
of Medicine, Dr. Kravitz entered into private practice in Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Kravitz then moved to
Ohio and accepted a position as a Senior Clinical Instructor at University Hospitals Case School of
Medicine. During this time, Dr. Kravitz maintained his Private Practice in Lyndhurst Ohio for over 30 years. 
 
Dr. Kravitz recently joined the team at Rapid Medical Research as an Investigator and brings a variety of
experience in clinical research with him from his tenure in Private Practice.
Clinical Research Staff:

As RMR has evolved over the years, our methods for study startup and recruitment have developed
into an expedient and efficient process. Focusing on quick turn-around times for startup, and rapid
enrollment of studies, RMR has become known for its ability to provide pharmaceutical sponsors and
CRO's the timeliness they desire, while maintaining a stringent quality of research and care. Our
dedicated recruitment department expertly recruits participants using a database of over 10,000
potential research subjects, in addition to media advertising and referrals.
 
Our experienced clinical team is dedicated to conducting quality research in a professional and caring
environment and strives on collecting quality data.
