Do You Have Type 2 Diabetes?
Do you have difficulty in controlling your blood sugar levels on your current anti-diabetic medication?
If the answer is yes, you might be suitable to participate in a clinical research study looking at whether an investigational medication is safe and effective in people with type 2 diabetes who are taking metformin treatment but whose blood sugar levels are not effectively controlled.
You might be able to participate in the GRAND-302 Study if you:
-are 18 years of age or older -have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes -have received less than 7 days of medication, or no medication other than metformin within the past 2 months -have difficulty in controlling your blood sugar levels.
The study will last for up to 42 weeks and will require between 13 and 15 visits to a study center. There is also the option to extend participation in the study to 122 weeks (just over 2 years). Suitable participants will receive study-related medication and health assessments at no cost.
